Preston to receive AGU's Falkenberg Award
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Aug. 6, 2015 – Climate researcher Benjamin Preston of the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory has been named to receive the American Geophysical Union's 2015 Charles S. Falkenberg Award.

Kalinin named fellow of AVS professional society
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., July 22, 2015 – Sergei Kalinin, a researcher in the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory, has been named a fellow of AVS.

AVS is an international professional society for researchers in the areas of surface, interface, vacuum and thin-film science and technology.

ORNL researchers Dudney, Love, Radford named Corporate Fellows
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., July 2, 2015 – Nancy J. Dudney, Lonnie J. Love and David C. Radford have been named Corporate Fellows at the Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The Corporate Fellow designation recognizes the researchers' significant accomplishments and continuing leadership in their scientific, engineering and technological fields.

Emmett receives top national award from Women in Nuclear
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Aug. 5, 2014 – Oak Ridge National Laboratory retired researcher Peggy Emmett is the recipient of the 2014 U.S. Women in Nuclear Leadership Award, the organization’s highest honor. The award caps a 51-year distinguished career for Emmett, who was recently recognized at a ceremony in Boston.
