Mahabir Bhandari elected to the NFRC Board of Directors
— BTRIC’s Mahabir Bhandari was elected for a three-year term to the Board of Directors of National Fenestration Rating Council, a non-profit organization that administers the only uniform, independent rating and labeling system for the energy performance of windows, doors, skylights, and attachment products.

Refrigerant testing heats up
— It's always something. Chloroflurocarbon refrigerants were phased out in the 1990s because they damage the ozone layer of the atmosphere and were replaced mainly by hydroflurocarbons. HFCs are safe for the ozone layer, but they are now a source of concern because they are potent greenhouse gases.
