Cooper receives Early Career Research Program Grant

Valentino Cooper of the Materials Science and Technology Division is a 2013 recipient of an Office of Science, basic Energy Sciences, Early Career Research Program grant for “First Principles Predictions of Phase Stability in Complex Oxides.”  The goal of this project is the first principles prediction of materials with enhanced properties that can be synthesized and remain active under device relevant conditions.

The Office of Science Early Career Research program supports the development of individual research programs of outstanding scientists early in their careers and to stimulate research careers in the disciplines supported by the DOE Office of Science.
