Bio
Kellen Leland is an HPC Engineer with the Operations - User Assistance group. The User Assistance group provides technical support for the center's advanced computing resources, develops and delivers training to users, and serves as an ambassador for users and the organization.
In addition to his User Assistance role, Kellen acts as a liaison for Slate - the center's OpenShift Kubernetes clusters - and supports users in conceptualizing, designing, and deploying their applications within Slate. He is interested in the future of edge and cloud computing workflows and how they relate to and interact with more traditional High Performance Computing models.
Prior to joining the User Assistance group, Kellen was an intern with the National Security Sciences Directorate where he contributed to the development of intelligent automation software for radar system parameters.
