Dr. Runming Tao (Ronnie) is a electrochemical engineer in the Energy Storage and Conversion Manufacturing Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2017 and Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2021. Now, he is a post-doctoral research fellow at ORNL, working on the advanced processing of lithium-ion battery electrode materials. His research interests include material synthesis and lithium-ion battery manufacturing, namely, fast-charging, ionothermal syntheses, nanoporous material preparations and R2R manufacturing. Runming has authored more than 30 peer-review journal articles and has severed as reviewers for over 10 peer-review journals. Currently, he is the guest editor of journal Crystals, journal Nanomaterials and journal Molecules.
