Huang named associate editor of Frontiers in Soft Matter

Jingsong Huang, a staff scientist at ORNL’s Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences, has been selected as an associate editor of Frontiers in Soft Matter. This open science journal draws on diverse disciplines including physics, chemistry, nanotechnology and engineering to describe phenomena associated with soft matter.

Huang joined ORNL as a postdoctoral research associate in 2007 after receiving his doctorate in physical chemistry from Georgetown University. His research in CNMS’s Nanomaterials Theory Institute focuses on chemistry and physics of functional materials, including polymers for energy conversion and storage. – by Dawn Levy
