The purpose of this group is to guide selection, testing and use of computer software models for calculating dose and risk from radionuclides released into the environment. The group will help determine potential risks to nearby individuals and collective populations.
Little joined ORNL in 1976, and he is currently section head of the Life Sciences Division's Environmental Technology Section located in Grand Junction, Colo.
He received a bachelor's degree in biology from McPherson (Kan.) College. He earned a master's degree in radiation biology and a doctorate in radioecology from Colorado State University.
He lives in Grand Junction with his wife, Joanna, and his two children, Jake and Shea.
