ORNL’s Busby recognized as a University of Michigan distinguished alum

Busby was recognized by the University of Michigan with a Distinguished Alumni Merit Award in early October.

Jeremy Busby, director of ORNL’s Reactor and Nuclear Systems Division, has been honored with the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Merit Award by the Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences Department within the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering.

The awards, which are presented during the annual homecoming celebration, recognize alumni who personify the college’s tradition of excellence. Busby received his master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. He has also served as an adjunct assistant professor for the university’s Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences Department since 2004.
