Ames Laboratory's Alex King, director of the Critical Materials Institute, helped kick off ORNL's involvement in the new DOE innovation hub last Friday at the JICS auditorium. Associate directors Michelle Buchanan, Martin Keller and Jim Roberto joined King in congratulating ORNL staff for their hard work in preparing for and winning the CMI proposal. Brian Sales will serve as deputy of the hub's "Developing Substitutes" focus area.
