At the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) [1,2] in Oak Ridge, we sought to measure
the transverse tilt and profile of the beam at several locations in our Ring to Target
Beam Transport (RTBT) line where we did not have wire scanners. A new method was
proposed and used to construct the transverse real space beam distributions from
Beam Position Monitor (BPM) signals. In this paper, we outline this method and present
experimental data taken using the technique, and we compare the results with profiles
taken using wire scanners.
