Nick Schmitt is a DevOps Engineer in the HPC Infrastructure and Networking group under the National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Within HPC Infrastructure and Networking, Nick works to support the division's Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform offering called Slate, which provides a Platform-as-a-Service supporting both user and staff projects to deploy and operate services such as databases, visualizations, scientific workflows, and data portals in NCCS.
