Bing Li is a computational instrument scientist in the triple-axis group. He supports HB1A, HB1, HB3 and CTAX.

Prior to joining ORNL, Bing was a postdoc at Argonne National Laboratory with Stephan Rosenkranz, studying systems with short-range orders using inelastic neutron scattering and X-ray diffraction techniques. Bing received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University (2022) working with Robert McQueeney. The focus of his Ph.D. work is on the spin dynamics in the magnetic topological insulators.
