Operations Technician

Bryan’s journey has been marked by a blend of technical expertise, military service, and a commitment to national security. With four years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and electrical work, Bryan’s technical foundation was solidified before he took a significant leap into military service. Enlisting in the U.S. Navy, he dedicated a decade to Tactical Data Link management and Air Defense, a role that shaped his understanding of complex systems and strategic operations.

Transitioning from active duty to the Navy Reserves, Bryan continued to build on his extensive background in defense. He then pivoted to a role as an Intelligence Trainer for the U.S. Army, where he shared his expertise and mentored others in critical intelligence operations. His career path led him to a position as a Program Analyst with a DoD Cyber Security Service Provider, where he contributed to safeguarding vital information systems.

Currently, Bryan is an Operations Technician at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory under the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate. His role here combines his technical skills and passion for scientific advancement.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bryan is deeply rooted in family life. He is married, a devoted father to a young son, and a pet lover with a cat and three energetic dogs. In his downtime, Bryan cherishes moments with his family, often involving his son in home projects and enjoying the occasional round of golf.
