The ORNL Fabrication Complex supports the research mission of the Laboratory. Our diverse capabilities span a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines, enabling the Laboratory to explore fundamental science challenges and to carry out the research needed to accelerate the delivery of solutions to the marketplace.
The Fabrication Complex consists of eight different shops. We have 2 main fabrication shops, and six machining satellite shops across the campus.
With the expertise of our skilled craft, manufacturing engineers, and support personnel we are exceptional at fabricating research and development projects.
Our specialty is one-of-a-kind complex builds. We bring concepts to reality.
