Geoffrey W Milanovich

Bio

Geoff Milanovich is the Accelerator Operations Group Leader at SNS.  Geoff received a B.S. in physics at the University of Virginia in 1999 and an M.S. in physics at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2001. His research included work on polarized targets for scattering experiments at SLAC and Jefferson Lab and work on a gas jet target at Triangle Universities Nuclear Lab (TUNL).

Geoff began his accelerator operations career at SLAC in 2001 and was promoted to chief operator in 2003. He left SLAC in 2008 to become a Control Room Shift Supervisor at SNS. In 2019 he became the Accelerator Operations Specialist and in 2020 moved to Accelerator Operations Group Leader.
