Bio
Mr. Hatfield has earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Technology Management. He currently holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification and Shift Supervisor (SS) qualification at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s (ORNL) High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR).
Mr. Hatfield has worked at the HFIR since 2016, initially serving as a reactor operator and then progressing into a role as a HFIR Shift Supervisor in 2019. Before coming to ORNL, Mr. Hatfield worked with the US Navy as part of the naval nuclear power program, serving aboard aircraft carrier USS Enterprise CVN-65 and Modifications and Additions Reactor Facility (MARF) as a Nuclear Power Training Unit Instructor.
