Bio
Jakob Becklehimer is a member of the HPC Infrastructure Operations group. In this role, Jakob works on maintaining and enforcing cyber security systems and practices and assisting with operational capabilities. Jakob graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Prior to joining ORNL, Jakob worked in the field of HPC hardware. During this time, he worked as a contractor to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and supported the install of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration C5 (NOAA C5) and Frontier as well as maintaining several production systems within NCCS.
