Bio
Graphic artist Jaimee Janiga joined ORNL in 2020. With more than a decade of experience, Janiga creates original art and illustrations that convey complex science, research and ideas, as well as producing presentations, wall art, fact sheets, reports, infographics, brochures, icons, posters and other materials, both printed and online.
Janiga's interest in science includes a commitment to appreciation and preservation of the natural world, and she has worked with organizations that share those goals, including Ijams Nature Center, the Shirley Heinze Land Trust, community farms, and AmeriCorps.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design and computer information sciences from Indiana University Northwest, where she also taught a course in the foundations to graphic design. She minored in geology.
