Bio
Jared Tippens is an engineer for the US ITER vacuum team and has been with the project since March 2022. He is responsible for the design and fabrication of various vacuum equipment for the ITER project.
Previously, Jared worked as a mechanical engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for three years on pulsed power applications for linear accelerators.
Jared holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
