Bio
Jay Appanam Karakkad is a radio frequency(RF) analyst for the Ion Cyclotron Heating (ICH) system. He is responsible for EM analysis and design of the different ICH components. Jay joined the US ITER project in August 2020 as an RF engineer.
Jay holds a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Masters's in Applied Engineering Physics from Cornell University.
