Jeff W Robertson

Bio

Mr. Jeff Robertson joined ORNL in February, 2021 and is a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer in the Systems Engineering, Design, and Fabrication Group at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). 

Mr. Robertson is a mechanical engineer with nearly thirty years’ experience in the engineering profession. He has worked in the commercial manufacturing, aerospace, nuclear, and defense industries. He’s designed mechanisms for the International Space Station, gloveboxes for nuclear materials, fuel tanks for the ARES-1 rocket, and sundry cryogenic and vacuum equipment. His hobby technical interests are theoretical physics, alternative energy development, nuclear power systems, and advanced space exploration technologies. 

Mr. Robertson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
