Jennifer M Stanford-Durham

In her role as Project Controls Specialist on the Radioisotope Processing Facility project, Jennifer Stanford-Durham works with the director, assistant director, project manager, lead project controls specialist and control account managers to develop and status work breakdown structures following the critical path method in a construction environment. She facilitates meetings with control account managers and delegates to review risk assessments and mitigation strategies. 

Jennifer provides additional Project Controls support to the production and R&D program for Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate. She has also contributed to other projects across the lab, providing surge support for upcoming project reviews assisting in resource loading schedules and providing logic and procurement analysis. 

Prior to joining ORNL, Jennifer worked in project controls for Georgia-based ENERCON Services, ultimately becoming a lead mentor, providing guidance on P6 functionality, training new hires in company-specific procedures for the Project Controls group, developing company reporting that was used for high level meetings with clients and Engineering of Choice reporting contracts that determines Fee At Risk funding, and developing several tools, schedules and templates. She previously worked in project oversight at Georgia’s Vogtle Units 3 and 4. Before her projects control career path, Jennifer taught middle-school language arts in the Tennessee public school system.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in multidisciplinary studies with an elementary education minor from Tennessee Technological University. She holds an Associate of Science degree from Roane State Community College.
