Jeremiah G Sewell

Group Leader, Stable Isotope Production Facility Demonstration

Jeremiah Sewell leads the Stable Isotope Production Facility (SIPF) Demonstration Group, a position he has held since 2023. Prior to becoming group leader, Jeremiah was a senior manufacturing logistics coordinator in the Manufacturing Process Engineering Group.

Jeremiah has served in several operations roles in the nuclear fuel cycle, power, and weapons industries. He joined ORNL in 2022 from the Y-12 National Security Complex, where he was a shift technical advisor in Special Materials Operations. At Urenco USA, he supported the construction, commissioning, start-up, and operation of the National Enrichment Facility; the only commercial gas centrifuge uranium enrichment facility in the United States. As a submarine veteran of the U.S. Navy, he operated and maintained the nuclear propulsion plant aboard the USS West Virginia (SSBN 736 G).

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from the University of Scranton.
