Bio
John is a control systems engineer with over 35 years of controls experience in nuclear, pharmaceutical and petrochemical environments. His primary areas of expertise include control system configuration and programming and instrumentation and control systems conceptual design through project management to commissioning and start-up. John has worked at SNS since August of 2020.
Professional Experience
In several industries, John has been lead instrumentation and controls engineer for several major multidiscipline projects (grassroots and expansion of existing facilities) as well as led several control systems conversion and upgrade projects.
Awards
John holds a PE license in control systems.
Education
John has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He’s been to training on Allen Bradley, GE, Triconex, Honeywell, ABB and Foxboro control systems as well as ISA S84 (safety systems), cGMP & GMP training and process dynamic/control loop dynamics and tuning.
