Bio
Jovid Rakhmonov is a research staff member in the Alloy Behavior and Design Group within the Materials Science and Technology Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He joined ORNL as R&D associate on the physical metallurgy of aluminum alloys in April 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Materials Engineering from Tashkent State Technical University, Uzbekistan. His current research interests include microstructure evolution and characterization, processing, mechanical properties, and alloy design.
