Bio
As the electrical craft supervisor for the Research Reactors Division, Justin Schultz is responsible for the support and leadership of the electricians to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the High Flux Isotope Reactor. Justin began his career in the electrical industry in 2002 serving an apprenticeship and working for an electrical contractor on several upgrade and new construction projects in the main campus and SNS. He later spent several years working at Y-12 on a couple of large-scale construction projects. In 2013, he found his way back to ORNL when he accepted an electrician position. In 2020, he became the electrician supervisor at the HFIR.
