Katherine M Bailey

Bio

Kathy provides process improvement, project management, technical writing, and system administration support to the HFIR Beamline Operations Section from within the HFIR Instrument Support Group. She joined the Lab in 2006 as a HFIR Scientific Associate, then became the HFIR SA Team Lead in 2011. Kathy stayed in that role until stepping back to pursue more project-related opportunities in 2019 as a Special Projects Coordinator within HFIR Instrument Operations. Kathy's background is in Biomedical Engineering (BS) and Polymer Engineering (MS), with certifications in Project Management (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma (CSSGB).
