Kelsey R Carter

Postdoctoral Researcher

Kelsey Carter is a plant physiologist specializing in studying plant responses to environmental stress, especially temperature and drought. Dr. Carter uses both field- and laboratory-based techniques to better understand how both managed and unmanaged systems are influenced by climate change.

2012-2015 - Intern, Oak Ridge National Laboratory

2019 - PhD in Forest Science, Michigan Technological University

2017 - MSc in Applied Ecology, Michigan Technological University

2012 - BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Tennessee - Knoxville
