Kyle Pearson
Kyle Pearson is an Experimental Technologist in the Ecosystem Processes Group in the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Lab. Kyle has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from University of Minnesota Duluth. He has 4 years of experience as a technician with the Environmental Sciences Division. Kyle works as the operations team lead at SPRUCE, an industrial-scale environmental manipulation experiment located remotely in northern Minnesota. Kyle manages day-to-day operations of the experimental site. His work there includes electrical, HVAC, instrument networking, and data collection. Kyle is also responsible for upkeep of various environmental science instruments including equipment from Campbell, Li-Cor, Vaisala, and Aalborg. In his personal time, Kyle is a hobbyist blacksmith and has been involved in historical reenactment.
