Kyle T Wooley

Manager, Central Solenoid and Tokamak Cooling Water System, US ITER

Kyle Wooley is the manager of both the central solenoid and the tokamak cooling water system teams at US ITER. He is responsible for the planning, design, fabrication, and delivery of these systems. He also provides oversight of the remaining components to be delivered for the central solenoid modules and structures, as well as the tokamak cooling water system.

Kyle joined the US ITER project in 2019 as a control account manager for the tokamak cooling water system. In that role, he was responsible for over $100 million in project hardware being procured and delivered through arrangements with the ITER Organization.

With more than 15 years of prior professional engineering experience, ranging from systems and reactor engineering to project management, Kyle brings leadership skills and cross-functional management experience from both the private and government sectors. His experience includes roles in nuclear power production, nuclear fuel enrichment, national security, and fusion energy.

Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
