Bio
Larry is a member of the HPC Infrastructure and Networking Team.
Larry has been at ORNL in this role since 2019. Previously he worked for FedEx as a lead to architect and deploy the Puppet automation system scaled to support and manage tens of thousands of client systems. He has also worked for Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) supercomputing center, and as a US Navy nuclear submarine officer.
In his current role he supports a variety of key services that are required by the NCCS HPC systems. Some major services include VMware, NetApp, and Puppet.
