Mark E Stidham

Mark Stidham has over twenty years’ experience in the private and public sectors serving in a wide variety of roles including facility development and equipment installation, technology development, service and maintenance, and high-volume manufacturing.  Mark’s facility development experience includes multiple proton therapy treatment centers where he was responsible for the incorporation of equipment interfaces and requirements in the facility design and provided oversite for facility construction from the ground up.  Mark also led equipment installation efforts including the assembly and commissioning of accelerator systems, vacuum systems, and electrical systems.

Prior to working in the proton therapy industry Mark worked for the Department of the Navy where he was formally trained and certified in systems engineering and served as the Science and Technology Working Group Chair for Anti-tamper Systems at NAVSEA Crane.  Mark also worked for several years in the semiconductor industry for the Systems and Technology Group at IBM, where his accomplishments include four US patents.

Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
