Matt D Williamson

Project Engineer, US ITER Project

Matt Williamson joined US ITER as a Project Engineer supporting the Pellet Injection System in 2022. He is responsible for the planning, design, fabrication, and delivery of plasma fueling pellet systems.

Matt previously served at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as a Mechanical Engineer and Control Account Manager supporting the LCLS-II-HE Project at SLAC. Prior to LBNL, he served as a System Engineer and Control Account Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory supporting the US ITER Project, Spallation Neutron Source target cryogenic systems, and the Proton Power Upgrade Project.

Matt holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
