Matthew Varela joined the US ITER Project as a Quality Assurance Engineer in 2023.
Matthew served six years as an Avionics Technician in the USAF. With experience split between F-16s and F-35s, Matthew became well versed in older and newer avionics technologies. Matthew acquired leadership skills through supervisory and training roles.
Matthew is a part-time student in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Mechatronic Systems. Matthew is enrolled in online classes through American Military University (AMU).
