Daniel J Lyngh

Bio

Daniel Lyngh graduated from Lund University as Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. He started out his career with 10 years in the offshore and oil & gas business working at first Rolls Royce and then Aker Solutions with design, engineering and project management offshore well intervention vessels for subsea offshore wells.

In 2014 Daniel joined the European Spallation Source as Senior Engineer and Work package Manager. The systems Daniel lead was the Moderator & Reflector System, Cryogenic Moderator System, Neutron Beam Extraction System (in-vessel inserts and guides), Light Shutter System and Proton Beam Drift Room. At ESS Daniel lead the work making the low-dimensional moderator reality.

After 7 years with ESS, Daniel in 2021 joined the Second Target Station project as Group Leader for Neutron Production Systems.
