Scott Luckadoo

Scott Luckadoo started his career with ORNL in August 2024 as an Administrative Assistant in the Fusion and Fission Energy and Science Directorate.  In his current role, he supports the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the Fusion and Fission and Science Directorate

Prior to coming to ORNL, Scott served 27 years in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer and in Army Aviation where he obtained the rank of First Sergeant.  Scott’s last two years in the military he was selected to fill the position of Army Assistant Inspector General in the Investigations department focusing on Whistleblower Reprisal.  Scott retired from the Army with a degree in Business Management/Administration in 2016. During his time in the military Scott served overseas in Korea and participated in multiple deployments to Kosovo (Operation Joint Guardian) and Iraq (OIF and OEF).  Most recently he was Employed by Campbell County BOE working at the high school as an Army Instructor for the JROTC program.   

Scott has over 38 years professional and life experience ready to embrace a new career.  A strong planner and problem solver who readily adapts to change and strives to meet company core values of Impact, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety and Service.
