Sreenivasa S Jaldanki

Research Staff

Sreenivasa S jaldanki received the B.Tech. degree from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India, the M.E. degree from the PSG College of Technology, Coimatore, India, and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2000, 2002, and 2013, respectively.

From 2002 to 2005, he was a research student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, and from 2005 to 2006, he worked at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. From 2013 to 2014 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada. From 2014 to 2022 he worked as a senior R&D engineer at Hitachi Energy in Chennai, India and Ludvika, Sweden. From 2022 he is working as a research staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  

His research interests are High voltage dc systems, control of grid-connected converters and electrical drives. 

Sreenivasa Jaldanki has more than 15 years of research experience in the area of power electronics. He has completed his PhD in the area of modeling, modulation and control methods for high power grid connected converters. His industrial research experience includes modeling and control f High voltage DC converters, HVDC system studies, HVDC circuit breakers and control of multi-terminal DC systems.
