Zach Mayes
Senior Kubernetes Platforms System Engineer
National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems HPC Infrastructure and Platform Group.
Please welcome Zach Mayes as a Senior Kubernetes Platforms System Engineer in the HPC Infrastructure and Platform group. In this role he will maintain and improve the infrastructure services supporting the activities of the NCCS computing center. He has worked with HPC previously at Sandia National Labs / University of New Mexico and at Florida State University's Scientific Computing department.
Prior to joining the lab, Zach has spent 15 years in software development and infrastructure in the finance, insurance, and telecomm industries. His interests include: containerization at scale, HPC - containerization integrations and hybrids, and automation.
In his free time, Zach enjoys spending time with his family.
