Operations Support
Oak Ridge National Lab produces, purifies and ships more isotopes than any other place in the world. To streamline that process, the Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division (IPMD) was created in 2022 to ship hundreds of types of isotopes used in medicine, research, industry and space exploration.
The Operations Support Group provides technical and operational support to enable and sustain the ongoing work in IPMD.
Support Mission
Support activities include manufacturing excellence, program integration, detailed work planning and control, process/system engineering, logistics, and risk mitigation.
