Research

We conduct innovative basic and applied computer science research on challenges of national interest. Our main research area is analysis of very large sets of data. Our research focus is in the areas of large-scale data analytics and architectures, which includes work machine learning, deep learning, text analytics, graph analytics, visual analytics, and biomedical analytics. We use a wide variety of platforms including high performance computer, quantum computers, neuromorphic computers, and all forms of cluster and cloud-based computers. The group has a broad research portfolio of research papers and patents, has developed collaboration with world renowned experts, produces high-quality results, and develops industry marketable technology, resulting in commercialized licenses. We hire and retain the top researchers and engineers in the field, and have a very active intern program for students as all levels.
