Mathematics in Computation Section

Delivering scalable and architecture-aware algorithms.

The Mathematics in Computation section creates the mathematics and architecture-aware algorithms that harness machines, ideas, and data, enabling far-reaching scientific breakthroughs.

These capabilities span foundational aspects of data analysis and artificial intelligence, discrete systems and methodologies, the dynamics of complex natural and engineered systems, and operations research and statistics.

The Mathematics in Computation [Seminar Series] hosts speakers from various areas of research aligning with the staff from the section. The goal of this series is to promote dialogue and collaboration between individuals and groups across institutions. The styles of talk include colloquiums, seminars, workshop and symposia.
