Multiscale Methods and Dynamics

Modeling and simulation of coupled systems across multiple spatial and temporal scales.

This group designs and develops the basic numerical algorithms and analyses necessary for simulating and understanding complex, multiscale systems.

Group members work to identify common mathematical structures across scientific domains. They collaborate extensively with scientists looking to leverage computing for scientific discovery and engineering solutions, and they deliver new technologies that advance computing at scale.
