Current domestic energy policy is aimed at encouraging the development of
alternative fuels such as hydrogen for use as a renewable and
environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based fuels for
transportation and stationary power. The purpose of the Hydrogen Delivery
Technical Team is to provide insight and input on hydrogen delivery
infrastructure research. Ongoing research has identified materials R&D
challenges required to support this infrastructure. A few of these challenges
are summarized with emphasis placed on materials.
