Abstract
In the context of biopreservation, we study the influence of water, glycerol and trehalose on the ps–ns dynamics of lyzosyme using neutron scattering. Results indicate that the choice of bioprotectant
depends on the storage temperature; glycerol is the most effective for low temperatures and trehalose for high temperatures.
