The Oak Ridge Neutron Science TeraGrid Gateway will provide tools for data analysis such as the TPQ code that fits scattering length density profiles to reflectivity data. To reduce the time required to do such fits, two levels of parallelism have been added to the code. One adds a genetic algorithm approach to the simulated annealing and the other divides the reflectivity calculation by the number of processors.
