Critical enhancement of spin-Hall effect in magnetic metals

Topic:

Newly developed theory for spin-Hall effect in magnetic metals based on spin fluctuations predicts critical enhancement of spin-Hall conductivity near magnetic transition temperatures.

Results demonstrate that magnetic metals, both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic, can be useful for spintronic applications for conversion of charge and spin currents at high temperatures.
