Bio
Aaron is a Nuclear Safety Analyst at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). He joined ORNL in 2008 as a Nuclear Reactor Controller at HFIR. In 2016, he transitioned to the Cold Source experiment facility as a Cold Source Staff Member (CSSM). In 2022 he transferred to the Nuclear Safety and Experiment Analysis group. Prior to joining ORNL, Aaron spent 6 years in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician serving aboard the USS Maryland (SSBN 738 Gold). He has bachelors degrees in Nuclear Engineering Technology and Computer Science, both from Thomas Edison State College.
