Akash Tiwari received his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2023. His research interests include Smart manufacturing cybersecurity and machine learning applications for manufacturing. He was a 2023 summer graduate intern at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory within the material science division. Akash Tiwari received his B.Tech. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2019.  In 2018, he was a summer research intern at the Durham University Business School, Durham, UK. He was a summer intern with Royal Enfield Motors Factory, Chennai, India, in 2017. He served as the Vice President of Academic Activities for the INFORMS student chapter at Texas A&M University between 2022 2023. He has also served as a peer-reviewer for JMP, JMSE, JCISE, MSEC, NAMRC, ESWA and IEEE. Previously, he has been a member of INFORMS and IISE.
