Bio
Alan is a Software Engineer for the Software Services Development Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
Before joining ORNL, Alan worked in the Oil and Gas industry at Tenaris who provides tubular goods and services for the world’s energy industry. Through his work experience there, he held different roles in maintenance and operations working with industrial automation systems.
Alan enjoys spending his free time with his wife Sarah and two dogs (Dexter and Pearl), programming and developing fun applications for family and friends and participating in triathlons.
