Alena V Zhernosek

Bio

Ms. Alena Zhernosek is a Project Management staff member in the International Safeguards Group in the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Over the past decade, Ms. Zhernosek has provided her project management expertise to several major Department of Energy (DOE) international programs such as the U.S.-Russian Materials Protection, Control & Accounting (MPC&A) Program and International Nuclear Safeguards Engagement Program. Her work focuses on the areas of international safeguards and human reliability.

Ms. Zhernosek holds an M.A. in Linguistics/Foreign Languages and Education from Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University, Russia, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
